The established celebration of the Greek Letters was held by the Municipality of Aradippou with great success on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 in the hall of events of the D' Elementary School of Aradippou. Speaker of the event was Metropolitan of Kition Nektarios and the subject of his speech was "The Three Hierarchs and the Greek Letters". At the event, the deceased priests Father Nicolas Papadimitriou and Father Paraskevas Charalambous were honored, as well as students who achieved nationwide or worldwide distinction in the fields of letters and arts. Also the event was decorated with artistic program by school children and organized groups of Aradippou. In his greeting, Aradippou Mayor addressed among other things, that the Three Hierarchs have left stocks of eternal value and have become bright markers of Orthodoxy and Hellenism. In the same context, he emphasized that the Municipality of Aradippou, by supporting education and culture, offers training opportunities to all its citizens and performs a great educational and cultural work with a range of events such as the open university, theaters, traditional festivals, art exhibitions, books and other related activities.
