Today, Monday 23 November 2020 at 13:30, the Contract for Maintenance / Additions to a Preserved Building (Historical / Folklore Archive of the Municipality of Aradippou) was signed in the Municipality of Aradippou with the successful bidder of the relevant tender "Businesses of Stelios and Company C. Roushas Trading and Development Ltd Consortium ", for the amount of € 189,222.00 plus VAT.

The design of the project was done free of charge by the architectural office "Sotiris Agapiou" and its completion time is 15 months.

The project includes the following in summary:

Repair, maintenance and completion of the exterior masonry and restoration to its original original form.
Repair and reconstruction of traditional coatings
Maintenance and restoration of windows, floors and morphological elements, according to the original original condition and the traditional standards of the area.
Reconstruction - maintenance of an existing roof (roof / roof) according to their original original form.
The contract was signed on behalf of the Municipality by the Mayor of Aradippou Mr. Evangelos Evangelidis and on behalf of the successful bidder Mr. Epifanios Kounnas.

The purpose of the contract is the maintenance and upgrade of the building of the Orthodox Christian Brotherhood (O.X.A.) and its conversion as a basis for the historical / folklore archive of the Municipality of Aradippou. The building will also be able to host events of the Ecclesiastical Committee of St. Luke, the Philoptochos Brotherhood of St. Luke and the Committee of O.X.A.
