Aradippou IS preparing to live one of the highlights of this year's cultural life. On the occasion of the feast of the patron saint of the city, Apostle Luke, Aradippou will hold various celebrations . The official launch event will take place on Thursday, October 17th at 8:30 pm at Apostle Luke Square, with keynote speaker the Minister of Communications and Works, Mr. Tasos Mitsopoulos. The event, which will be folklore, will include traditional dances, songs, tsiatista and a musical traditional program with the band of Christos Sikkis .
On Friday, October 18th at 7.30 pm the artistic part of the events will take place in the Apostle Luke square, with songs, recitations and dances from different shapes of the municipality.
The festivities continue on the square on Saturday, October 19th at 7.30 pm, with the play "The Birds of Aristophanes," which will be presented by Livadia Theatre Workshop.
The celebrations will conclude on Sunday, Oct. 20th with a dual view ( at 11.00 am and 2.00 pm) of the animated film 'The Croydon' in Kallithea cinema.
The event is supported by the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture. Admission is free to the public for all events.
