The closing ceremony of the fifth year of the Open University of the Aradippou Municipality was held on March 1st, 2017 with the sixth and final lecture of the year.
Speaker of the Sixth lecture was Dr. Elena Ioannidou, Assistant Professor of Teaching Language / Sociolinguistics of the Department of Education, University of Cyprus. Subject of the sixth and last of the University lecture was "Creating a dynamic language and textual environment for children. Practical literacy and language at home." After the lecture, the awarding of the certificates to participants of the 5th Year Lectures took place. Upon completion of the fifth year of lectures of the Open University, the Municipality Aradippou successfully implemented the goal of achieving a series of educational courses on various articles from eminent scientists in the field who have offered valid, clarified knowledge, but also araised concerns to the participants. The response to the public was important and the massive turnout has triggered a continuation of the institution.
