In the spirit of Christmas Days, Aradippou celebrates and changes rhythms, mood and color. The cycle of festive events opens officially on Sunday 3 December 2017 at 16.15 with a Christmas parade. The parade in which organized organizing sets and shapes of the city will begin from the Heroes Monument and after crossing Archbishop Makarios Boulevard will end up at Apostolou Louka Square. There, around 17.15, the Christmas tree will be lit by the Mayor of Aradippou, Mr. Evangelos Evangelidis. Then there will be christmas songs from various musical ensembles. In the square there will be Santa Claus, who will be delighted with the children, popcorn and wool of the candy, while wine will be offered in the same place to the grown-ups. At the same time in the square there will be shopping in Christmas wooden houses with delicacies, drinks and more.

The Christmas events will continue on Sunday 17th December at 16.30 with the Christmas Road event, which will take place on Arch. Makarios III Boulevard (Bank of Cyprus Area). The event will include an entertainment program with music and dances from community ensembles and institutions, while young children will be entertained with a juggling show. At the same time, in the same place will be shopping at Christmas wooden houses with delicacies, beverages and more.

The day after Christmas, Tuesday 26 December, from 9.30 to 13.00 at Fatni of the Little Christ (Arch. Makarios G89), children will have fun with the reindeer and the elves. The Christmas train will be waiting for everyone, young and old, for walks on central streets, Santa will give candies, popcorn and wool of candy, while Mrs. A Queen will make the portraits of young children. Small citizens will have fun at the patio, admire his wife Santa preparing cookies and attending a juggling show. The same event with the train will continue at 14.00 - 16.30 in Krasas (Kamares), at the junction of Kalymnos & Michael Zeniou streets.

The events will be completed on Saturday December 30 at 13:00 and 15:00 and 17:00 with a triple screening of the children's film "The Ballerina and the Little Inventor" at the KALLITHEA Cinema.

The aim of the Municipality of Aradippou is to enchant the children and to give back to adults the look of childish distress. All events are free for the public.
